Nanofertilizer

The project entitled “Production of Nanofertilizer from Biogas Plant Digestate,” a collaboration of the University of Mindanao and Ana’s Breeders Farms, Inc., aims to solve this problem. By developing an economically viable system that can produce solid and liquid nanofertilizers of high market value, ABFI will be able to address its economic losses and the environmental impact brought by the incomplete processing of the biogas plant digestate. The project’s main objective is to fabricate an effective biogas plant digestate processing equipment that can produce highly effective and marketable deodorized solid and liquid nanofertilizers when applied to crops.
The project will run for two years and is specific only to the biogas plant digestate from ABFI, as each type of biogas plant digestate will have different characteristics depending on the raw material.
